Hello. My name is Max. I could be roughly 5 years old. I was trapped on the streets of Canberra. I came from another rescue because I was not friendly at all. I have now come out of my shell with my new carer, it didn’t take too long. I really like food and laying in the sun. I love cuddling up to my carer in bed to watch movies. I do get excited when my carer comes in the room and sometimes when I’m not getting enough attention I bite her on the back of the leg, it’s not hard, I just want to let her know that I’m here. I can be a bit rough when I’m playing with you but it’s only because I am so excited. I really love pats. I get on well with most of the cats where I am but a couple of the girls I like to chase when they don’t want me to, I just want to play but they are a bit scared of me.

I would be best suited to a home with no other cats. My new human should be on the younger side, as even though my bites on the leg don’t hurt (it’s more that they startle you), it might hurt an elderly person. Apart from that, I’m the sweetest little boy looking forward to a forever home.
