I grew up on a farm & have always had animals around  ..  dogs, cats, horses. At present I have 4 horses – 2 of which came from Heavy Horse Heaven (a charity which rescues & re-homes the heavy horse breeds). My current best mate is a kelpie called Chief.

I’ve been on my property at Boro since last October, after selling a place at Exeter in the Southern Highlands.

I first came across Peanuts when I heard Mick being interviewed on radio 2GB. I thought “what a great concept!”, so when I got home I rang and spoke to Tracey  ..  (and who couldn’t be captivated by the gorgeous Tracey??)

My thinking was “I’ve got 120 acres here – surely I can find some room for a few extra friends”, so I suggested to Tracey that if they have any animals that need a home to let me know.
I think what Mick & Tracey are doing is priceless – helping wounded kids and wounded animals at the same time – brilliant. So I would just be grateful to be involved in any small way with their work.

Paul
